We are looking for a detail-oriented and quality-focused Automation Software Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manual testing within a Waterfall workplace while also possessing knowledge of Agile methodologies. The candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, preparing test artifacts, executing test cases, identifying defects,



and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), and user stories to understand application functionality.

Prepare and review test scenarios, test cases, test data, and test execution reports.

Execute functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and sanity testing. Identify, log, track, and verify defects until closure.

Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Project Managers to resolve issues and clarify requirements.

Participate in requirement review meetings and provide inputs from a testing perspective.

Prepare and maintain testing documentation, including:

Test Plan

Test Cases

Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM)

Test Execution Reports

Test Summary/Test Closure Report

Ensure complete requirement coverage through RTM.

Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by assisting business users when required.

Perform root cause analysis for recurring defects and suggest quality improvements.
