Responsibilities
- Conduct fabric inspection (4-point system or equivalent) and identify defects like shade variation, GSM variation, and shrinkage
- Verify fabric composition and approve fabric prior to cutting and production
- Verify garment measurements against size charts and buyer specifications
- Conduct inline and final measurement audits, ensuring tolerance levels are maintained
- Perform inline quality inspections during stitching and finishing stages
- Ensure stitching quality, seam strength, labeling, trims, and packaging meet standards
- Conduct shrinkage, color fastness, and wash tests
- Maintain QC documentation and reports
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of fabric types, garment construction, and measurement standards
- Fabric defect identification and garment fit & measurement analysis skills
- Quality auditing and process improvement mindset
- Positive documentation and reporting skills
