Job Overview

We're looking for an Application-Level QA Engineer with 3–4 years of experience to own quality across our analytics and tracking web applications. Because our products surface survey and analytics data through dashboards and visualizations, this role goes beyond standard functional testing - you'll also validate that what users see in the UI accurately reflects the underlying data. The ideal candidate is detail-obsessed, comfortable with both manual and automated testing, and uses modern tooling (including AI) to test thoroughly and quickly.

Responsibilities

- Own application-level quality for our web applications, covering functional, UI, regression, and integration testing.
- Design, write, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios from product requirements.
- Perform manual testing and build/maintain automated test suites for web UI and APIs.
- Validate data accuracy
- verify that values, aggregations, and visualizations shown in the UI match the underlying data and expected logic.

- Conduct API testing to validate endpoints, responses, and edge cases.
- Perform cross-browser and responsive testing across devices and screen sizes.
- Log, track, and manage defects with transparent, reproducible reports; work with engineers through resolution.




- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and contribute to release readiness.
- Use AI tools in your day-to-day workflow to accelerate test design and execution without compromising coverage or quality.
- Own end-to-end testing for assigned features and sign off on release quality.

Required Skills

- 3–4 years of professional QA / software testing experience at the application level.
- Strong foundation in QA fundamentals - test planning, test case design, and the bug lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with manual testing of web applications.
- Experience with at least one UI automation tool (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright).
- Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, or automated API tests).
- Strong data validation skills - comfortable querying databases (SQL) to verify application data.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA ).
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub, SonarQube and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Comfort using AI tools to improve testing speed and coverage.
- Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and logical reasoning.
- Exposure to NoSQL queries (MongoDB)/SQL queries for data verification.
- Understanding of performance/load testing.

Good to Have

- Experience testing dashboards, reports, or data visualization products.
