:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Test Engineer to join our QA team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing automated tests to ensure software quality and reliability. They will work closely with development, QA, and project management teams to create automated test frameworks, scripts, and tools for continuous testing and integration.

Key Responsibilities :

1.

Test Planning and Strategy :

- Analyze project requirements and create comprehensive test plans and strategies for automated testing.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for new and existing features.

Test Automation Development

- Develop, maintain, and improve automated testing frameworks and scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, and other relevant technologies.
- Collaborate with developers to design test automation solutions, ensuring effective coverage across all layers (UI, API, database).

Execution and Reporting

- Execute automated test scripts in various environments (local, staging, production).
- Analyze and report test results, documenting and tracking issues in bug-tracking tools like JIRA.
- Provide detailed bug reports to the development team and verify fixes as needed.

Continuous Integration and Deployment :

- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) to ensure continuous testing during the software development lifecycle.
- Optimize test execution to improve efficiency, coverage,



and reliability.

5.

Quality and Best Practices :

- Follow and advocate best practices for test automation and QA processes.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Conduct performance and load testing as needed.

Collaboration and Communication

- Work closely with cross-functional teams (development, product management, operations) to define testing requirements and goals.
- Communicate test progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders in a timely manner.

Qualifications :

- Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience : 2-4 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation.

Skills :

- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks.
- Knowledge of test frameworks (JUnit, TestNG) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured).
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills; ability to work in a team-oriented setting.

Preferred :

- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- ISTQB certification or similar testing certifications.
- Exposure to Agile and DevOps practices.
