Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Playwright Automation Engineer with 5+ years of experience in Test Automation and strong expertise in Playwright with JavaScript or TypeScript. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust test automation frameworks for web applications while ensuring software quality, reliability, and faster release cycles.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Create and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Implement cross-browser testing across Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
- Develop reusable automation components and utilities to improve testing efficiency.
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines and test reporting tools.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners,



and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and work with development teams for resolution.
- Ensure automation coverage for critical business workflows and APIs.
- Optimize test execution time and improve framework performance.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- 4+ years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright Automation.
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience building automation frameworks from scratch using Playwright.
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience in UI, API, and End-to-End Testing.
- Strong knowledge of selectors, locators, assertions, and test execution strategies.
- Experience with REST API testing tools and automation.
- Familiarity with Git-based version control systems.
- Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
