Role Overview As a Quality Control Engineer in the Radiator Manufacturing Division , you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the company's and customers’ quality standards.

You will monitor in-process production, inspect raw materials and finished goods, and support root cause analysis for quality issues. The role requires a solid understanding of welding, fabrication, dimensional inspection, leak testing, and ISO quality systems applicable in a transformer radiator manufacturing setting.

- In-Process Quality Inspection
- Conduct stage-wise inspection of radiator manufacturing processes such as shearing, fin forming, welding, painting, and assembly.
- Check dimensions, tolerances, weld quality, and surface finish as per drawings/specifications.
- Identify and report non-conformities during fabrication or assembly.
- Raw Material & Incoming Inspection
- Inspect raw materials such as steel sheets, tubes, headers, and fasteners upon arrival.
- Verify test certificates, specifications, and dimensions.
- Coordinate with the store and purchase departments for rejection or replacement of defective material.
- Final Quality Inspection
- Perform final inspection of assembled radiators including leak testing, pressure testing, and dimensional verification.
- Ensure each product meets customer specifications before dispatch.




- Approve or reject products and materials that do not meet quality standards.
- Welding Quality Control
- Monitor weld joints (seam, spot, arc welding) for visual defects and dimensional integrity.
- Support welders by identifying recurring quality issues and ensuring compliance to WPS (Welding Procedure Specification).
- Maintain weld inspection records and collaborate with welding inspectors if applicable.
- Quality Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain inspection records, checklists, quality logs, and NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports).
- Support preparation of inspection reports, test certificates, and customer compliance documentation.
- Assist in maintaining ISO 9001:2015 documents and audit preparedness.
- Rejection Analysis & Corrective Actions
- Identify causes of rework or rejection and support in root cause analysis (RCA).
- Coordinate with production, welding, and design teams for implementing corrective/preventive actions.
- Track and reduce internal rework and rejection percentages.
- Calibration & Instrument Control
- Ensure measuring instruments like Verniers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, and Pressure Gauges are calibrated and used properly.
- Maintain instrument calibration records.
- Customer Coordination (if required)
- Support customer inspections, third-party audits, or quality queries.
- Ensure prompt response and resolution to quality concerns raised by customers.
