About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications and services.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following industry best practices.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to implement new features.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Integrate third-party APIs, tools, and services.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Ensure application security, scalability, and reliability.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and Python development trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 1–4 years of experience in Python development.
- Strong proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and web services.
- Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Required Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Docker and containerization technologies.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis.
- Understanding of software testing frameworks and best practices.
- Exposure to AI/ML applications or data processing pipelines is a plus.
