Role Description This full-time remote DevOps role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure to support PPStack’s digital learning platforms and related services. The DevOps skilled will manage CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and collaborate with development teams to streamline software delivery and environment management.
Daily responsibilities include monitoring system performance, optimizing resource usage, troubleshooting production issues, and improving observability through logging and alerting. The role also involves working with container orchestration platforms, managing Linux-based systems,
and contributing to infrastructure-as-code practices. The DevOps team member will partner closely with engineering, product, and security stakeholders to ensure robust, high-availability solutions that support continuous innovation in EdTech.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Software Development and Integration to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and support end-to-end application delivery.
- Candidates should possess skills in Continuous Integration to design, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
- Candidates should possess skills in Kubernetes to manage container orchestration, scaling, and high-availability environments.
- Candidates should possess skills in Linux to administer servers, manage system configurations, and ensure secure and stable operations.
- Experience with cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools (such as Terraform or Ansible) is beneficial.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar) and security best practices in DevOps environments is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, collaboration skills, and clear written and verbal communication are essential.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
