- Plan and deliver transdisciplinary lessons aligned with the IB PYP framework.
- Guide inquiry-based learning and facilitate Units of Inquiry across multiple subjects (English, Math, Science, Social Studies, etc.).
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom workplace.
- Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learners and learning styles.
- Regularly assess and document student learning, using formative and summative strategies.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Participate in collaborative planning sessions with other grade-level and specialist teachers.
- Maintain up-to-date student portfolios and contribute to report cards and parent-teacher conferences.
- Uphold and model the IB Learner Profile and PYP philosophy.
- Engage in continuous professional development and IB training.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or equivalent.
- Teaching certification/license.
- 2+ years of experience in early/primary education.
- Familiarity with the IB PYP framework and inquiry-based learning.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using educational technology for blended learning.
Preferred Qualifications
- IB-certified PYP training/workshops completed.
- Experience teaching in an IB or international school environment.
- Ability to integrate arts, technology, or additional languages into classroom activities.
- Experience working with EAL (English as an Additional Language) learners.
