REQUIREMENT SUMMARY The Embedded C Developer Specialist role is critical in the ITES sector, focusing on developing and optimizing low-level drivers for embedded systems. Based in Chennai, this position requires a deep understanding of embedded C programming and associated hardware components.

Description

- 6-9 years of experience in embedded C programming, particularly in low-level drivers.
- Robust understanding of embedded concepts at both software and hardware levels, including MCU architectures such as Renesas.
- Proficiency in using development tools such as IAR, emulators, and OCD.
- Experience with communication drivers and protocols like RS232, RS485, I2C, SPI, and Modbus.
- Ability to perform hardware debugging and testing with various tools, including oscilloscopes and multi-meters.
- Familiarity with software testing tools at unit level, preferably CPPUnit, and continuous integration tools like Jenkins.
- Experience with version control tools, preferably GIT.





Key Responsibilities

- Develop and optimize low-level drivers using embedded C for various embedded systems.
- Conduct structured and modularized software development and testing for embedded components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance embedded software functionalities.
- Perform hardware debugging and testing, including schematic reading and usage of tools like oscilloscopes and multi-meters.
- Utilize version control tools, preferably GIT, to manage code versions and ensure consistency.
- Implement RTOS knowledge in developing software solutions, particularly with systems like Threadx.
- Engage in software testing at unit levels using tools such as CPPUnit and manage continuous integration processes with Jenkins.
- Document all development processes thoroughly and contribute to the improvement of existing software solutions.
