Role Description The Purchase Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for overseeing all procurement activities for interior contracting projects. The role involves identifying and evaluating vendors, negotiating pricing and contracts, and ensuring timely availability of materials, fixtures, and services in line with project specifications and budget.

The Purchase

Manager will coordinate closely with project managers, site teams, designers, and finance to forecast material requirements, manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and maintain inventory records. Daily tasks include reviewing quotations,



conducting cost comparisons, monitoring supplier performance, and ensuring compliance with company standards and quality requirements. The role also includes optimizing procurement processes, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and supporting overall project timelines and cost control.

Qualifications

Strong procurement and vendor management skills, including vendor identification, evaluation, negotiation, and contract management.

Experience in materials planning, inventory management, and cost control for interior, construction, or fit-out projects.

Knowledge of interior contracting materials, finishes, furnishings, and related services (e.g., carpentry, electrical, civil, HVAC).

Proficiency in using procurement and office software (such as Excel, ERP systems, or project management tools) for tracking orders and budgets.

Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills to work effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.

Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on quality and timelines.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications in procurement or supply chain are an advantage.

Prior experience as a Purchase Manager or in a similar purchasing role within interiors, construction, or real estate is highly preferred.
