Role & responsibilities

- Float RFQs and obtain competitive quotations from vendors.
- Prepare technical and commercial comparison statements.
- Issue Purchase Orders and follow up for timely deliveries.
- Coordinate with project teams for material requirements and site consumables.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new vendors.
- Track material dispatches, logistics and pending deliveries.
- Maintain procurement records, vendor database and purchase MIS.
- Support cost optimization through effective vendor negotiations

Preferred candidate profile

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
- 26 years of experience in procurement/purchase for Electrical EPC, Industrial Projects or MEP.
- Knowledge of electrical materials such as cables, cable trays, switchgear, panels, transformers, instrumentation, earthing materials, etc.
- Valuable working knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Strong negotiation, communication and coordination skills.
