Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Purchase Executive role based in Ahmedabad.

The Purchase

Executive will manage end-to-end purchase processes, including receiving and reviewing purchase requisitions, preparing and issuing purchase orders, and maintaining accurate procurement records. The role involves identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating pricing and terms, and ensuring timely delivery of pharmaceutical, packaging, and ancillary materials.

Executive will coordinate closely with production, quality, warehousing, and finance teams to align purchasing with inventory levels, production schedules, and quality standards. The role also includes monitoring vendor performance, resolving discrepancies, supporting audits, and contributing to cost optimization and process improvements in the purchase function.

Qualifications Robust purchase management skills, including handling purchase orders and purchase requisitions, with experience in end-to-end procurement processes.

Knowledge of procurement practices, vendor evaluation, and sourcing strategies relevant to pharmaceutical or manufacturing environments.

Effective communication skills for coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders, and for maintaining clear documentation and reports.

Experience with ERP or inventory management systems, and proficiency in MS Excel and other basic office tools.

Bachelor’s degree in commerce, business administration, supply chain, or a related field; a diploma or certification in materials management or supply chain is an advantage.

Understanding of pharmaceutical industry standards and compliance requirements is preferred.

Strong attention to detail, negotiation abilities, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
