Role Description The Purchase Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmednagar. This position is responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing activities for Ground Support Equipment and related components, including sourcing suppliers, preparing and issuing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. The role involves evaluating vendor quotations, negotiating pricing and terms, and maintaining accurate records of purchases and inventory levels.

Engineer will collaborate closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to align procurement with technical specifications and project timelines.



Daily activities also include monitoring market trends, analyzing costs, and supporting continuous improvement in purchasing efficiency and supplier performance.

Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Purchasing Processes and Purchase Management to handle vendor selection, negotiations, and compliance with company procedures.

Candidates should possess skills in Purchase Planning and Purchase Orders to manage material requirements, order scheduling, and documentation accuracy.

Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to compare supplier proposals, optimize costs, and support data-driven decision-making.

Relevant experience in industrial or manufacturing environments, ideally within aviation or equipment manufacturing, is beneficial.

A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical field is preferred.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.

Proficiency in ERP or purchasing software and basic MS Office tools to manage procurement data and reporting.

Attention to detail, integrity in handling commercial information, and a focus on safety, quality, and cost-efficiency.
