As we expand, we’re seeking an experienced and hands-on Projects Lead to lead the execution of our store rollouts and infrastructure initiatives pan-India.
Role Summary The Projects & NSO Manager will be responsible for end-to-end management of all Broadway store openings—from site evaluation and design to construction, vendor management, and operational readiness. The ideal candidate is a strategic executor with a proven track record of managing large-scale retail projects, including greenfield, brownfield, and retrofit formats.
Key Responsibilities
- Projects & Fit-Out Management
- Drive store execution from site survey to handover across greenfield, brownfield, and retrofit projects.
- Oversee design coordination, BOQs, budgeting, scheduling, construction, and final handover.
- Ensure adherence to quality, cost, and time benchmarks across all NSO projects.
- Use project management tools like MS Project / Primavera (P6) to plan and track progress.
- Incorporate store design principles and aesthetic layouts; prior hands-on exposure to store designing is good to have.
- Leasing Support & Property Readiness
- Support the real estate team in technical due diligence, feasibility analysis, and fitment evaluations.
- Define scope of work, assist in landlord coordination, and facilitate timely site handovers.
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with internal teams including design, VM, IT, operations, brand partners, and HR for seamless store go-lives.
- Lead weekly war-room updates with key stakeholders to unblock execution challenges.
- Vendor & Budget Management
- Finalize and manage vendors for civil, MEP, and retail fit-out works.
- Monitor capex budgets, billing, audits, snags, and project documentation.
- Special Projects & Corporate Offices
- Manage corporate office upgrades, brand activations, and one-off brand zones or shop-in-shops (SIS).
Must-Have Experience
- 10–15 years in project management, civil execution, fit-outs, and store launch in organized retail or commercial real estate.
- Managed large retail formats including luxury stores, fashion stores or hypermarkets.
- Hands-on experience setting up projects verticals from scratch.
- Strong knowledge of stakeholder and vendor management.
- Expertise in software like MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Proven experience with both traditional and recent-age retail brands, such as: Zudio, Max, Reliance
- Prior exposure to mall developer relations, high street leases, and multi-brand store environments.
