Role Description The Project Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Goregaon, responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of pharmaceutical manufacturing and distribution projects. The role involves tracking project timelines and deliverables, preparing status reports, and maintaining documentation to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.

The Project

Officer will coordinate with cross-functional teams such as production, quality, supply chain, and finance to facilitate smooth project implementation and resolve day-to-day issues.

Responsibilities include assisting in resource planning and budgeting,



monitoring risks, supporting process improvements, and contributing to the setup and expansion of manufacturing facilities. The role also requires regular communication with stakeholders, organizing meetings, following up on action items, and ensuring that project activities align with Africure’s mission to build pharmaceutical sufficiency in Africa.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess skills in project coordination and project management, including scheduling, tracking milestones, and maintaining project documentation.

Candidates should possess skills in stakeholder communication and collaboration, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Candidates should possess skills in data analysis and reporting, including basic proficiency with spreadsheets, dashboards, and status reporting tools.

Candidates should possess skills in process improvement and problem-solving, with the ability to identify operational bottlenecks and support implementation of practical solutions.

Candidates should possess skills in time management and organization, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, life sciences, engineering, business, or a related field;

experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector is an advantage.

Knowledge of regulatory and quality considerations in pharmaceutical manufacturing is beneficial.

Comfort working in an on-site, dynamic environment and willingness to engage with manufacturing operations and project teams on the ground.
