Accacia is an AI-enabled platform helping real estate and infrastructure companies achieve net-zero goals. As we scale our Solar EPC (Ground & Rooftop) vertical, we are looking for a Project Manager to own end-to-end execution of industrial, commercial and residential solar plants - from handover of the signed order to commissioning and final client sign-off. You will lead site execution, manage vendors and subcontractors, drive material planning and procurement follow-up, and take full responsibility for project timelines, budgets, quality and safety.

The role also owns statutory approvals - DISCOM net-metering, CEIG/Electrical Inspectorate clearance and subsidy documentation - and reports project health to management through structured weekly MIS. This is a hands-on role with regular travel to project sites across Punjab, Haryana and NCR.

Key Responsibilities

- Project Planning: Prepare and maintain the project schedule (Gantt/microplan) for each site - material delivery, civil work, structure erection, module mounting, electrical works, testing and commissioning - and drive the team to meet committed dates.
- Site Execution: Manage day-to-day execution at multiple sites through site engineers, supervisors and subcontractors; resolve technical and manpower bottlenecks on the ground.
- Engineering Coordination: Review and approve layouts, SLDs, structure drawings, cable sizing and earthing design with the design team; ensure execution matches approved drawings.
- Procurement & Material Management: Raise material requirements against BOQ, follow up with the purchase team and vendors on deliveries, and control site inventory,



wastage and reconciliation.
- Vendor & Subcontractor Management: Finalise scope with civil, structure and electrical contractors, monitor their progress and quality, and certify their bills.
- Statutory Approvals: Own the net-metering application and DISCOM liaison (PSPCL/HSPCL/DHBVN/UHBVN or equivalent), CEIG/Electrical Inspectorate drawing approval and inspection, and subsidy/PM Surya Ghar documentation where applicable.
- Quality & Safety: Enforce QAP and EHS standards on site - work-at-height, electrical isolation and PPE compliance - and conduct pre-commissioning checks, IR/earth-pit testing and performance verification.
- Commercial Control: Track project cost against budget, flag variations and additional scope in time, and coordinate milestone-linked billing and client payment follow-up.
- Client Management: Act as the single point of contact for the client during execution; share progress updates, manage expectations and complete handover with as-built documents, O&M; manuals and warranty papers.
- Reporting: Submit weekly project MIS to management covering physical progress, cash flow, risks and delay reasons.

Requirements

- B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering




- 5-8 years in solar EPC execution with independent site responsibility
- Robust working knowledge of net-metering, CEIG requirements, IS/IEC standards and grid connectivity norms
- Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera, AutoCAD basics, MS Excel and PVsyst (preferred)
- Willingness to travel extensively to project sites; valid driving licence
- Communication in Hindi and English; Punjabi is an advantage for Punjab sites

Work Experience

- 5-8 years in Solar EPC project execution, with at least 2 years in an independent project management or site-in-charge role.
- Must have executed rooftop and/or ground-mounted solar plants end to end - design coordination, procurement, erection, testing, commissioning and handover.
- Hands-on experience with DISCOM net-metering, CEIG/Electrical Inspectorate approvals and MNRE/ALMM compliance requirements.
- Candidates from EPC, electrical contracting or infrastructure execution backgrounds with demonstrable solar exposure will be considered.

Preferred Attributes

- Experience executing 500 kW+ industrial rooftop or MW-scale ground-mounted projects
- Established working relationship with DISCOM/CEIG offices in Punjab, Haryana or NCR
- Exposure to ALMM/DCR module compliance and government tender project execution
- Familiarity with project management and ticketing tools (Zoho Projects, MS Project, or similar) and structured MIS reporting
- Ability to manage 3-5 sites simultaneously and lead a team of site engineers
- Commercial awareness - BOQ costing, variation claims and subcontractor bill certification.
