Location: Connaught Place, New Delhi

Job Title: Manager - Operations and Projects

Experience- 6-10 years

Ctc- upto 7.8 lpa (Depends on interview)

Travel: Regular travel to Neemrana, Rajasthan, and other business locations as required Employment

Working Days and Hours: Monday to Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Flexibility may be required during site visits, project work and commissioning activities.

This is a broad execution and coordination role in a growing industrial business. It is not a technical Plant Manager position and is not limited to routine office administration.

Key Responsibilities

Business Operations

- Coordinate day-to-day operational and administrative activities.
- Maintain action trackers, deadlines and responsibility lists.
- Follow up with employees, vendors, contractors, consultants and service providers
- Coordinate between management, accounts, technical personnel and external parties.
- Prepare meeting minutes, progress updates and management reports.
- Identify delays, unresolved issues and operational risks.
- Escalate key matters promptly with the relevant facts and recommended next steps.
- Take responsibility for operational matters that should not remain with the finance and accounting team.

Neemrana Plant Development
- Support the development and operational readiness of the Company’s Neemrana manufacturing facility.
- Coordinate architects, consultants, contractors, fabricators, utility providers, equipment suppliers and other service providers.
- Visit Neemrana regularly to monitor progress and coordinate activities. Maintain project schedules, contractor trackers and pending-work lists.
- Monitor timelines, dependencies, quality concerns and contractor commitments. Coordinate matters relating to plant infrastructure, utilities, equipment installation, storage, warehousing, safety arrangements and operational readiness.
- Prepare written site-visit and project-progress reports.
- Follow up on delays, incomplete work and corrective actions.
- Support equipment installation, testing, commissioning and handover activities. Coordinate with RIICO, consultants and other authorities or service providers where assigned.
- The candidate will coordinate plant-development work but will not be expected to independently approve specialised engineering designs, chemical formulations or technical process decisions.

Procurement and Vendor Coordination
- Identify suitable suppliers, contractors, consultants and service providers. Obtain quotations, proposals and supporting documents.
- Prepare quotation comparisons and commercial evaluation sheets.
- Conduct preliminary commercial discussions and negotiations when authorised. Follow up on approvals, purchase requirements, deliveries and vendor commitments.
- Maintain vendor records and supplier-performance information.




- Evaluate vendors based on price, quality, capability, reliability, responsiveness and delivery.
- Identify practical cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
- The candidate may obtain quotations, negotiate preliminary terms and recommend vendors but may not issue purchase orders, approve payments, sign contracts or commit Company funds unless expressly authorised.

Manufacturing and Operational Readiness
- Support the establishment of manufacturing, blending, packaging, labelling, warehousing and dispatch processes.
- Coordinate materials, packaging, equipment, labour, utilities and storage requirements
- Assist with the preparation of production-related procedures, checklists and records Support workplace organisation, housekeeping, material identification and operational discipline.
- Coordinate with technical and production personnel while respecting their specialised responsibilities.
- Identify practical improvements to workflow and operating efficiency.

Inventory, Warehouse and Logistics
- Maintain or coordinate stock and inventory records.
- Monitor material receipts, storage, transfers, consumption and dispatch.
- Support physical stock verification and reconciliation.
- Coordinate warehouse organisation, material identification and storage practices.
- Follow up on incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Coordinate transporters, courier companies and logistics providers.
- Identify shortages, excess stock and inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain inventory, logistics and dispatch documentation.

Facilities and Maintenance
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance relating to office facilities, plant infrastructure, equipment, vehicles and utilities.
- Maintain preventive-maintenance schedules and records.
- Follow up with contractors and service providers until work is completed.
- Monitor the general condition and readiness of facilities.
- Coordinate electricity, water, drainage, ventilation, fire-safety and other utility requirements where assigned.

SOPs and Documentation
- Prepare and maintain Standard Operating Procedures, work instructions, checklists, forms, registers and inspection formats.
- Maintain project, procurement, maintenance, inventory and corrective-action records. Ensure that documents are clear, practical and consistent with actual operations. Maintain document numbering, approvals, version control and revision histories. Identify documentation gaps and follow up until they are resolved.




- Help ensure that approved procedures and records are maintained by the relevant employees.

ISO Coordination
1. Practical experience with ISO systems applicable to manufacturing is strongly preferred. The candidate may be required to support ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 through:

- preparation and updating of procedures, SOPs, forms and registers;
- document control and record control;
- collection of evidence for internal and external audits;
- coordination with ISO consultants, auditors and certification bodies; tracking of observations, non-conformities and corrective actions;
- maintenance of training records, risk assessments, inspection records and compliance trackers; and
- support for management reviews, certification audits and surveillance audits.

1. The candidate does not need to be a Lead Auditor or independent ISO consultant but should have genuine practical experience with ISO documentation or audit preparation.

Personnel and Contractor Coordination
- Coordinate contractors, service providers, temporary workers and operational support staff.
- Monitor attendance, deployment, work progress and completion of assigned activities. Support scheduling, onboarding and training coordination.
- Help maintain discipline, accountability and safe working practices.
- Report performance, conduct or execution concerns promptly to management. Reporting

The candidate will be expected to prepare clear and concise reports covering:

● work completed;

● pending tasks;

● responsible persons;

● deadlines;

● delays and risks;

● management decisions required; and

● recommended next steps.

Required Experience

- Approximately 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in operations, project coordination, plant administration, procurement, vendor management, manufacturing support, industrial services, logistics, quality systems or a related field.
- Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, consultants or service providers.
- Experience preparing reports, trackers, quotation comparisons or operational documentation.
- Strong follow-up and task-completion ability.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, email and common office software.
- Willingness to work from the New Delhi office and travel regularly to Neemrana.
- Candidates with fewer years of experience may be considered where they demonstrate strong capability, ownership and relevant practical exposure.

Education
- A degree or diploma in engineering, operations, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, safety, business administration or a related field is preferred.
- Candidates with strong relevant experience may be considered even where their formal education is in another field.
