IT Project Manager – Strong Business Analysis Background (SDLC + AI-Driven Development)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead software development initiatives with a strong emphasis on Business Analysis. This role is responsible for driving successful project delivery through effective SDLC governance while enabling teams to leverage AI-powered tools to improve productivity, quality, and delivery efficiency.

The ideal candidate will possess robust project management expertise, excellent business analysis skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality outcomes.
- Define, manage, and control project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements using industry-standard business analysis techniques.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including:
- Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)
- Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs)
- User Stories
- Use Cases
- Process Flows
- Data Models

- Ensure complete traceability between business requirements and technical deliverables.
- Manage cross-functional teams comprising software developers, QA engineers, AI tooling specialists, data engineers, and operations teams.
- Ensure adherence to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes across requirements, design, development, testing, deployment,



and production support.
- Drive adoption of AI-enabled development practices to enhance engineering productivity and software quality.
- Act as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Lead, facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and removing delivery impediments.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while proactively managing scope changes through established governance processes.
- Maintain strong stakeholder engagement by providing regular updates on project progress, milestones, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with QA teams to define testing strategies, acceptance criteria, automation approaches, and successful project sign-offs.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager delivering software development projects.
- Strong Business Analysis experience with expertise in requirements gathering, documentation, process modeling, and stakeholder management.
- Deep understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.




- Experience managing AI-enabled software development initiatives (AI/ML technical expertise is not mandatory).
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, and project delivery best practices.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft Project.
- Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical specifications.

Preferred Qualifications

- CBAP, CCBA, PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, or equivalent certifications.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced Agile environments.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Familiarity with AI services and developer productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Azure OpenAI.
- Experience working in enterprise-scale digital transformation or software modernization programs.
