We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and manage large-scale Data Platform initiatives across the enterprise. This role will focus on delivering complex data engineering, cloud data lake, enterprise reporting, and data migration projects while collaborating closely with engineering, architecture, analytics, and business stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing cross-functional teams in Agile environments and driving execution for modern data platform programs involving cloud technologies, enterprise-scale data solutions, and AI-driven innovation initiatives.

The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, risk management, stakeholder communication, budgeting, and roadmap alignment across multiple teams and platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and lead Scrum teams delivering enterprise-scale Data Platform and Data Engineering initiatives.
- Coach development teams on Agile methodologies, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement processes.
- Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and delivery plans for data platform modernization and migration projects.
- Organize and lead project status meetings, sprint ceremonies, roadmap discussions, and working sessions.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, Architecture, Analytics, AI/ML, and Business teams to define and deliver scalable data solutions.
- Effectively communicate technical problem statements, dependencies, risks,



and mitigation strategies to both technical and business stakeholders.
- Manage cross-functional and cross-team dependencies across cloud data platforms and enterprise systems.
- Work closely with external vendors, implementation partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress, track delivery metrics, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Use project management tools such as Jira, Rally, or TFS to manage sprint planning, backlog tracking, and reporting.
- Provide executive-level status reporting, dashboards, roadmap updates, and risk communication.
- Drive accountability across teams, remove blockers, and champion operational excellence and process improvements.
- Support enterprise initiatives related to data governance, reporting modernization, cloud migration, and AI-enabled analytics platforms.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- 8-12+ years of Project Management and Scrum experience managing large-scale enterprise technology programs.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Data Platform, Data Lake, Cloud Data Engineering, enterprise reporting, or large-scale data migration projects.
- Strong understanding of contemporary cloud data ecosystems including AWS and/or GCP.




- Experience working with enterprise data platforms, analytics systems, ETL/ELT pipelines, and reporting environments.
- Proven experience leading Agile/Scrum teams in fast-paced enterprise environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to present complex project updates to leadership and executive teams.
- Experience managing project risks, dependencies, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Ability to independently drive initiatives with minimal supervision and strong ownership mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

- PMP Certification is a plus.
- Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Retail industry experience is preferred.
- Experience with Jira, Rally, TFS, or similar Agile project management tools.
- Exposure to AI/ML-driven platforms and modern data innovation initiatives.
- Strong design thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Self-driven, proactive, and execution-focused mindset with strong leadership skills.
