The Medical Imaging Business (MIB) specializes in the installation and commissioning of diagnostic imaging equipment across healthcare institutions.

Purpose of the Role The Project Engineer is responsible for coordinating and executing medical imaging equipment installation projects from site assessment to final commissioning and customer handover. The role ensures projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute end-to-end project activities for installation and commissioning of Medical Imaging equipment such as CT, MRI, Cath Lab, DR, Mammography, C-Arm, and Ultrasound systems.
- Conduct site surveys to assess infrastructure readiness before installation.
- Coordinate with customers, OEMs, contractors, architects, civil, electrical, HVAC, and shielding vendors to ensure timely project execution.
- Monitor site readiness, including electrical, civil, HVAC, UPS, earthing, and radiation shielding requirements.
- Coordinate equipment delivery, unloading, installation, commissioning, and acceptance testing.
- Track project schedules and ensure timely completion of project milestones.
- Identify project risks, delays, and bottlenecks, and escalate issues proactively.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain project documentation,



including installation reports, commissioning reports, project status updates, and customer sign-off documents.
- Coordinate with Sales, Service, Applications, Supply Chain, Finance, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide regular project progress updates to management and customers.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and operational efficiency.

Educational Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.

Experience

- 2–5 years of experience in project execution, installation, or service of medical equipment.
- Experience in Medical Imaging, Healthcare Equipment, Hospital Infrastructure, or Medical Device industry is preferred.
- Fresh engineers with strong technical aptitude may also be considered for entry-level roles.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Experience handling installation and commissioning of Radiology or Medical Imaging equipment.
- Positive understanding of hospital infrastructure and utility requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project timelines.
- Willingness to travel extensively across assigned regions.
