Project Executive / Coordinator / Sr Project Coordinator / Project Manager - AI Data Collection

Location: Gurgaon (5 days WFO + 1 day WFH)

Experience: 6 months to 4 years

Function: Operations / Delivery, AI Data Services - Data Collection & Annotation

About the role

You will run large-scale AI data collection and annotation projects end to end: the datasets that train machine learning models for global AI companies.

This is not a software or technical PM role. You will not manage developers or write code. It is execution-driven work: managing freelancers, vendors, quality, timelines, and delivery.

Depending on your experience, you join one of two tracks. Both own projects end to end. The difference is the depth of client interaction and team handling.

Track A: Project Coordinator (6 months to 2 years)

- Source and onboard freelancers across multiple channels
- Break requirements into clear execution steps
- Maintain daily trackers: submissions, QC, approvals, rework, closures
- Monitor throughput and flag risks early
- Ensure guideline compliance, file naming, folder structure, metadata accuracy
- Unblock operational bottlenecks independently

Robust performers are groomed for client delivery and project lead roles in 3 to 6 months. Track B: Senior Project Coordinator / Project Manager (2 to 4 years)

Best suited to candidates from client handling, delivery management, outsourcing, IT services, digital agencies, or other project-based environments.

- Act as primary point of contact for clients




- Translate requirements into execution plans
- Own timelines, quality, and client satisfaction
- Manage coordinators, interns, freelancers, and vendors
- Run review calls and handle escalations
- Improve workflows for faster, more accurate delivery

You will do well here if you

- Enjoy solving operational problems and juggling many moving parts
- Are detail-oriented and process-driven
- Take ownership instead of waiting for instructions
- Work comfortably in fast-paced, deadline-driven setups
- Are strong with spreadsheets and structured workflows
- Can figure out sourcing strategies on your own

Prior exposure to AI data collection, annotation, or large-scale coordination is preferred.

Timings

Standard hours (8 to 10 hours a day). Some projects need occasional overlap with US time zones. This is not a night shift role, and office presence is not required during US-aligned hours.
