: Project Control Associate

About the role

MEICON is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Control Associate with strong scheduling and project tracking capabilities to support planning, monitoring, documentation, and coordination activities for US-based infrastructure and civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with project managers and engineering teams to support schedule development, track progress, and ensure timely and accurate project reporting. This role offers significant exposure to complex transportation and infrastructure projects, along with strong opportunities for professional growth.

Skills and Responsibilities: Support creation, updating, and maintenance of project schedules using MS Project, Primavera, or similar scheduling tools.

Assist project managers in planning, sequencing activities, resource loading, and defining project milestones.

Track project progress, analyze schedule variances, and highlight delays or risks impacting timelines.

Prepare weekly/monthly schedule updates, look-ahead plans, and progress reports.

Coordinate with engineering teams, project managers, clients, and subcontractors to collect required schedule inputs.

Assist in developing baseline schedules, recovery schedules, and revised schedules as needed.

Maintain documentation related to scheduling, including logs, progress trackers, dependencies, and risk registers.





Support project control processes such as cost tracking, productivity monitoring, and performance analysis.

Prepare and maintain project documentation including MOMs, action trackers, transmittals, and status reports.

Facilitate virtual coordination meetings with US-based engineering teams; record discussions and follow up on action items.

Ensure adherence to schedule standards, client requirements, and project execution guidelines.

Perform quality checks on schedule data, reports, and documentation for completeness and accuracy.

Identify bottlenecks early, escalate issues, and assist in developing mitigation strategies.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, structural, MEP, BIM, design) to ensure smooth information flow.

Support project managers in generating dashboards, progress summaries, and KPI-based reports.

Requirements and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.

3–5 years of experience project controls, scheduling, or planning for infrastructure, construction, or engineering projects.

Experience working with US or international engineering projects is highly preferred.

Strong understanding of project lifecycles, engineering workflows, and construction documentation.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and scheduling tools such as MS Project or Primavera.

Excellent coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong communication skills (written and verbal) for interaction with global teams.

High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to work in quick-paced environments.

Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary internal teams and US-based stakeholders through virtual meetings.

Ability to follow processes, maintain documentation discipline, and drive timely deliverables.
