Role The

Foundation is looking for a caring and committed person to lead the Apna Ghar Transit Home in Delhi. Apna Ghar gives patients and their caregivers a safe place to stay while they travel for cancer and other NCD treatment.

As Project

Associate you will run the transit home day to day, look after the needs of the people staying there, and keep positive working relationships with the hospitals and doctors around you. The role involves about 40 percent travel.

Responsibilities Manage the overall running of the transit home and all related activities as per the Standard Operating Procedures.

Build and maintain warm, working relationships with hospitals, doctors and service providers so that patients' needs are met properly and on time.

Ensure the transit home stays fully occupied and attend to the needs of patients and caregivers.

Lead a small team of service providers and make sure they have the resources they need, when they need them.

Contribute to CSR activities at the location and site.

Requirements MSW, MPH, MA in Social Science or MBA.

1 to 2 years of work experience,



preferably in the healthcare sector with a focus on cancer and other NCDs.

Good understanding of the healthcare situation in the state and of the various programmes and schemes related to NCDs.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to supervise a project end to end.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with experience of working with cross functional teams.

Careful attention to detail and accuracy in financial and administrative work.

Working knowledge of MS Office tools.

Working knowledge of English and proficiency in the local language.

Willingness to travel about 40 percent of the time.
