Role Description The Program Manager (NGO) – HR Internship is a full-time hybrid role based in New Delhi, with a mix of on-site and work-from-home responsibilities. The candidate will support planning, coordination, and monitoring of education and outreach programs, including scheduling classes, tracking participation, and assisting with impact reporting. Day-to-day tasks include helping manage volunteer and intern recruitment, onboarding, and engagement, as well as maintaining records and documentation related to human resources and program activities.
The role also involves collaborating with field staff and partners, supporting community interactions, and contributing to process improvements that enhance program delivery. The candidate will work closely with senior team members to ensure that programs run smoothly, are well-documented, and align with the organization’s mission and standards. Qualifications
Robust interest in social sector work, education for underserved communities, and nonprofit program management.
Good organizational, time-management, and coordination abilities to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact respectfully with diverse stakeholders.
Basic proficiency in office productivity tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, presentations) and comfort with remote collaboration tools.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability, accountability, and ethical conduct.
Prior experience in volunteering, community work, or internships in NGOs or education-related projects is an advantage.
Pursuing or having completed studies in social work, education, human resources, management, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
