The BUCO for Digital Banking is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, risk management, audit readiness, and governance across all Digital Banking channels including Online Banking, Mobile Banking, and Digital Payments. The role acts as the first line of defense, ensuring adherence to internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and security standards while supporting business teams with timely guidance and oversight.

Key Responsibilities Oversee GRC activities for Digital Banking, ensuring strong controls, policy adherence, and timely issue closure.

Act as SPOC for all audits (internal, external, IT, IS, regulatory); coordinate data, validate responses, and manage closure of findings.

Monitor regulatory and compliance requirements; ensure timely submissions and adherence to RBI timelines and guidelines.

Maintain and update risk registers, RCSA findings, self‑audits, and Digital Banking risk libraries.





Lead vendor governance activities including onboarding compliance, vendor risk assessments, audits, and periodic reviews.

Support preparation and submission of Board/Committee notes and track actionables to closure.

Conduct periodic training and awareness sessions on GRC topics for Digital Banking teams.

Qualifications Overall 12-15+ years of experience with 5–6 years of experience in Governance, Risk, Compliance, or Information Security within Banking.

Robust understanding of RBI guidelines, digital payment frameworks, and security controls.

Experience in risk assessments, audits, policy implementation, and vendor risk management.

Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder‑management skills.

Preferred: CA, DISA, LLB, MBA (Finance), CISA, or equivalent certifications.
