Job Purpose To gain practical knowledge of jewellery manufacturing processes by assisting the production team in daily operations, learning production planning, material handling, quality standards, and inventory control while supporting efficient manufacturing activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Production Support

- Assist the production team in executing daily manufacturing activities.

- Support production planning and work allocation as instructed by the supervisor.

- Help monitor work progress and ensure timely movement of jobs between departments.

- Maintain proper production records and documentation.

Material

Handling

- Assist in issuing and receiving raw materials, components, and finished goods.

- Support material counting, weighing, and verification.

- Ensure proper identification and storage of materials.

- Bill of Materials (BoM)

- Learn the BoM creation process for jewellery designs.

- Collect design specifications, material details, and weight information for BoM preparation.

- Assist in entering BoM data into the ERP system under supervision.

Production

Documentation

- Prepare and maintain Job Order (JO) slips.

- Update production status in Excel and ERP systems.

- Maintain records of production output, rework,



and pending jobs.

5.

Quality

Support

- Assist the Quality Control team during inspections.

- Learn product quality standards and acceptance criteria.

- Report any quality deviations to the supervisor.

- Inventory & WIP Control

- Assist in monitoring Work-in-Progress (WIP).

- Support stock verification and inventory reconciliation.

- Help maintain accurate production and inventory records.

7.

Process

Improvement

- Observe manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

- Support implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Skills & Competencies

- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and computer applications.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Time management and organizational skills.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree (or pursuing) in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Jewellery Design, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
