Responsibilities may include

- Candidate must have MBBS/MD/ DM/ BDS/ MDS degree

- Mastery of a specialty area and full knowledge of industry practices, typically obtained through advanced education and experience. Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or equivalent) and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

- Demonstrating extensive knowledge of all clinical and scientific data for Medtronic products and maintaining a deep understanding of the science behind them.

- Developing competitive intelligence in the product space.

- Driving education and outreach for safe and effective use of products.

- Developing, implementing, and overseeing integrated evidence-based medical affairs strategic plans for relevant Medtronic organizations.

- Providing advanced subject matter expertise and medical input to various functions (General Management, Global Strategy &
- Portfolio Management, Business Development &
- Licensing, Research &
- Development, &
- Marketing) to facilitate decision-making and enable achievement of business objectives.

- Ensuring effective,



objective value propositions are developed and articulated for Medtronic technologies to stakeholders (patients, health care providers, payers, government agencies, health technology assessment organizations, public) through appropriate channels.

- Building and nurturing deep, collegial relationships with key thought leaders, qualified societies, and payers.

- Driving the adoption of tools and techniques for the safe and effective use of products.

- Communicating product-related information to investigators, institutions, and key stakeholders, including medical groups, government agencies, and health systems.

- Providing perspective to field activities associated with growing existing products and bringing new products to market.

- (MBBS/ MD, BDS /MDS Designation only) Licensed Practitioners may bridge communication between sales, marketing, and clinical teams.

- Conducting continuing education workshops, seminars, and programs for graduate physicians, pharmacists, and scientists.

- Responding to unsolicited inquiries.
