- As a Principal in our Management Consulting team, you will lead client-facing transformation engagements, manage a team of consultants, and drive process improvement outcomes across complex business environments. The role requires a strong combination of consulting delivery, stakeholder management, process excellence, digital enablement, and people leadership capabilities. You will be expected to independently lead workstreams, shape solutions, guide teams, and engage confidently with client stakeholders to deliver measurable business value.

Responsibilities:

- Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business goals, and becoming a trusted advisor.
- Analysis and Assessment: Conduct in-depth analysis of industry trends, market dynamics, and client-specific challenges to provide valuable insights and recommendations.
- Strategic Planning: Assist clients in formulating and executing strategic plans, including business development, asset optimization, and risk management strategies.
- Operational Improvement: Identify opportunities for operational efficiency, cost reduction, and process optimization within the Upstream Oil and Gas sector.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics and modeling to support decision-making and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Project Management: Lead and coordinate consulting projects, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams,



leveraging the expertise of other consultants and industry specialists to address client challenges.
- Market Research: Stay current with industry trends and best practices, sharing knowledge and insights with clients and team members.
- Client Deliverables: Prepare and present high-quality reports, presentations, and recommendations to clients, clearly articulating complex concepts.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants, fostering their professional growth and development.

Additional Skills:

- Lead process transformation engagements across business functions by combining consulting, process excellence, digital transformation, and change management capabilities.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients by translating business problems into structured process transformation opportunities and actionable solutions.
- Manage and mentor a team of consultants, ensuring quality delivery, capability development, and effective utilization across engagements.
- Drive current-state assessment, future-state design, process optimization, business case development, and implementation roadmap creation for transformation programs.
- Review team deliverables, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to consulting standards and quality expectations.
- Support practice growth through solution development, proposal support, reusable assets, knowledge management, and thought leadership.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, or related disciplines). A master's degree is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree / Full time MBA/PGDM from Tier1/Tier2 B Schools in India or foreign equivalent required.
- Minimum of 12- 15 years of experience in management consulting, business process transformation, process excellence, operations transformation, or digital transformation.
- Solid experience in leading client-facing process transformation engagements across one or more industries such as Oil & Gas, Utilities, Energy, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, or Services.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams of consultants and deliver through structured planning, work allocation, review cycles,



and stakeholder governance.
- Strong understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, BPMN, value stream mapping, process mining, automation assessment, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including proficiency in data analysis and modeling.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
- Experience working with cross-cultural and distributed teams across multiple geographies and time zones.
- Project management experience, with a track record of successfully leading consulting engagements.
- Willingness to travel as required for client engagements.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Exposure to process mining platforms such as Celonis, Signavio, UiPath Process Mining, or similar tools.
- Experience in ERP-enabled transformation involving SAP, Oracle, or other enterprise platforms.
- Knowledge of digital technologies such as workflow automation, RPA, analytics, AI/ML, business intelligence, and low-code platforms.
- Experience supporting proposals, pre-sales, solution design, and consulting practice development.
- Certifications in Lean Six Sigma, BPMN, PMP, Agile, Celonis, or process mining would be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of agile development practices (Scrum), methodologies and tools.
- Ability to thoroughly understand complex business and technical issues and influence decision making at all levels of the organization without formal reporting structure authority.
- Excellent teamwork, written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
- Ability to work as part of a cross-cultural team including flexibility to support multiple time zones when necessary.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and to build strong relationships with clients.
