Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and scorecards.
- Gather and understand business requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.
- Develop complex DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs.
- Create efficient data models using Star and Snowflake schemas.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from multiple data sources.
- Optimize Power BI reports for performance and scalability.
- Develop and maintain Power Query (M Language) transformations.
- Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and views.
- Configure Row-Level Security (RLS) and manage Power BI Service deployments.
- Schedule report refreshes and troubleshoot data refresh issues.
- Collaborate with business users, data engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver reporting solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, quality, and governance standards are maintained.

Required Skills:

- Strong experience in Microsoft Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
- Hands-on expertise in DAX and Power Query (M Language).




- Strong SQL skills with experience in writing complex queries.
- Good understanding of data modeling concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema).
- Experience with ETL processes and data integration.
- Knowledge of Power BI Gateway, Workspaces, Apps, and Deployment Pipelines.
- Experience implementing Row-Level Security (RLS).
- Positive analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, or Microsoft Fabric.
- Exposure to SSIS, SSAS, or SSRS.
- Knowledge of Python or R for analytics is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Microsoft Power BI Certification is preferred.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 38 years of relevant experience in Power BI development and business intelligence.
