PMS Operations Specialist – Portfolio Management Services

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced PMS Operations Specialist to manage end-to-end Portfolio Management Services (PMS) operations, including transaction processing, reconciliation, customer servicing, compliance coordination, and stakeholder management.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in financial operations, PMS transactions, demat account processes, RTA coordination, and handling investor/distributor queries.

Key Responsibilities

Transaction Management & Quality Checks

- Perform scrutiny and quality checks of financial and non-financial transactions.
- Manage daily and monthly reports received from custodians.
- Ensure compliance requirements are met across PMS operations.
- Monitor PMS demat account activation and transaction clearance.




- Coordinate with stakeholders for transaction funding based on activation status and AML checks.
- Communicate credit status updates with Head Office teams and RTAs.
- Follow up for timely case activation.

Customer & Distributor Servicing

- Handle portfolio reports and various investor statements.
- Coordinate brokerage and GST payment advice.
- Resolve customer queries related to:
- Credit status
- Activation status
- Redemption payments
- Switch status
- TDS refunds
- Fee schedules
- Exit load queries
- Transmission requests
- Coordinate stock acceptance activities.

Reconciliation Activities

- Track activation status and update stakeholders.
- Perform transaction remapping wherever required.
- Follow up on pending corpus cases.
- Coordinate drawdown communications with sales teams.

Stakeholder Coordination

- Coordinate effectively with:
- Internal operations teams
- Custodians
- RTAs
- Sales teams
- Head Office teams
- Distributors

Required Skills

- 5+ years of experience in PMS Operations / Wealth Operations / Financial Operations.
- Strong understanding of PMS transaction lifecycle.
- Experience handling financial and non-financial transactions.
- Knowledge of Demat account activation and transaction processing.
- Experience with RTA and custodian coordination.
- Understanding of AML checks and compliance processes.
- Experience in reconciliation and reporting.
- Strong customer servicing and stakeholder management skills.
- Positive knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting.
