US Immigration Analyst
Job Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented US Immigration Analyst to manage employment-based immigration processes and ensure compliance with U.S. immigration laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience handling various non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions while collaborating with employees, attorneys, and government agencies.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end U.S. employment-based immigration cases.
Prepare and review visa petitions, including H-1B, L-1, TN, E-3, O-1, F-1 OPT/CPT, H-4 EAD, PERM, I-140, and I-485 applications.
Coordinate with immigration attorneys to ensure timely preparation and filing of petitions.
Track visa expiration dates and maintain immigration case records.
Ensure compliance with U.S. immigration laws, company policies, and government regulations.
Respond to employee immigration-related inquiries and provide guidance on visa processes.
Monitor changes in USCIS, Department of Labor (DOL), and Department of State immigration regulations and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
Prepare reports, maintain case documentation, and support internal and external audits.
Assist with H-1B cap season, PERM recruitment, prevailing wage requests, and labor certification processes.
Maintain confidentiality of employee immigration records and sensitive information.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field.
25+ years of experience in U.S. employment-based immigration.
Robust knowledge of USCIS, DOL, and Department of State processes and regulations.
Experience with visa types such as H-1B, L-1, TN, E-3, O-1, PERM, I-140, I-485, EAD, and Advance Parole.
Experience using immigration case management systems (e.g., INSZoom, Tracker, Envoy, or similar).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with an immigration law firm or corporate immigration team.
Knowledge of I-9 compliance and E-Verify.
Experience supporting global mobility or corporate immigration programs.
Ability to manage multiple cases and meet strict filing deadlines.
