Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an Information Technology - Assistant Manager to manage IT infrastructure and support ISO 27001 (ISMS) implementation in a chemical manufacturing environment. The role involves ensuring secure IT systems, supporting plant operations, and maintaining compliance with industry and regulatory standards.

Job Location - Aundh, Pune

ISO 27001 & Compliance:

- Support implementation and maintenance of ISO 27001 ISMS framework
- Prepare and manage documentation (policies, procedures, risk assessments, asset registers)
- Conduct internal audits and coordinate with certification bodies
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company data security requirements
- Perform risk assessment and implement security controls

Plant IT & Infrastructure Management:

- Manage IT systems for plant operations (ERP, production systems, lab systems)
- Maintain network connectivity across plant, office, and remote locations
- Handle servers, desktops, printers, CCTV's and industrial IT equipment
- Ensure uptime and reliability of IT systems in production environment

Cybersecurity & Data Protection:





- Monitor firewalls, antivirus, endpoint security, and access controls
- Implement backup and disaster recovery plans
- Handle incident response and vulnerability management
- Ensure secure data handling for production and compliance records

User Support & IT Operations:

- Provide technical support to plant and office staff
- Manage IT assets, licenses, and inventory
- Support onboarding/offboarding (user access, systems setup)
- Coordinate with vendors for IT procurement and AMC

Preferred candidate profile

- Knowledge of ISO 27001 and information security practices mandatory
- Experience in manufacturing/plant IT environment preferred
- Basic networking, firewall, and server management
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP or similar is a plus)
- Solid troubleshooting and documentation skills

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelors /Master's degree in IT / Computer Engineering
- ISO 27001 Internal Auditor / Lead Implementer certification
