Role Description The Nurse Manager – Home Healthcare Operations is a full-time, in office role based in Chennai. This role oversees day-to-day clinical operations for home healthcare services, including planning and coordinating nursing visits, monitoring patient care plans, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards.

The Nurse

Manager provides leadership and guidance to nursing staff, conducts regular performance reviews, and supports ongoing training and development. In collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals, the role involves supervising patient assessments, managing documentation, and ensuring timely communication with patients and families. The position also includes managing scheduling, resource allocation, and operational efficiency, addressing escalations,



and contributing to quality improvement initiatives and compliance with regulatory and organizational policies.

Qualifications

- Strong clinical nursing expertise in home healthcare or community nursing, with the ability to oversee patient assessments, care planning, and ongoing monitoring.

- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, including team supervision, mentoring, performance management, and conflict resolution.

- Proficiency in healthcare operations and coordination, such as scheduling, workload management, process optimization, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, multidisciplinary teams, and external stakeholders.

- Solid organizational and documentation abilities, including accurate record-keeping, reporting, and familiarity with electronic health or care management systems.

- Knowledge of relevant clinical guidelines, infection control practices, and regulatory requirements in home healthcare settings.

- Registered Nurse qualification with an appropriate nursing degree or diploma; additional certification in management or healthcare administration is an advantage.

- Prior experience in a supervisory or nurse manager role within home healthcare, hospital, or community health services is highly beneficial.

- Ability to work on-site in Chennai, travel locally for home visits if required, and adapt to dynamic field conditions and patient needs.
