We are looking for a skilled MSSQL DBA (L2) with a robust background in managing and maintaining MSSQL databases in a banking domain.

Location: Belapur (WFO)

Experience: 3+ Years

Qualification: ANY IT Graduate

Installation & Configuration

- Install and configure SQL Server instances across environments (development, test, production).
- Set up clustering, replication, and Always On availability groups for high availability.

Database Maintenance

- Perform routine health checks, index maintenance, and statistics updates.
- Monitor database growth and manage storage effectively.

Performance Tuning

- Analyze query execution plans and optimize SQL queries.
- Configure server settings and indexes to improve performance.

Security & Compliance

- Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions.
- Implement encryption, auditing, and compliance policies (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).

Backup & Recovery





- Design and implement backup strategies (full, differential, transaction log).
- Perform disaster recovery drills and ensure recovery time objectives (RTO) are met.

Troubleshooting

- Diagnose and resolve blocking, deadlocks, and failed jobs.
- Work with developers to debug stored procedures and optimize schema design.

Upgrades & Migrations

- Plan and execute upgrades to newer SQL Server versions.
- Migrate databases between servers or cloud platforms (Azure SQL, AWS RDS).

SSRS & SSIS

- Strong knowledge of T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS.
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking.

Risks & Challenges

- Communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work under pressure during outages or performance issues.
