We are seeking an experienced MS Azure Cloud Architect to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in leading the design and implementation of cloud architecture solutions that will enhance our operational capabilities and drive innovation. The incumbent will be responsible for defining and implementing the cloud strategy, with a particular focus on leveraging Microsoft Azure to meet the specific needs of our organization.

As a senior member of the IT department, the MS Azure Cloud Architect will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our cloud architecture aligns with business objectives and adheres to industry standards. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud solutions, architectures, and best practices, as well as experience in the chemicals sector, enabling them to address unique industry challenges effectively. We are looking for a strategic thinker who excels in problem-solving, possesses excellent communication skills, and can articulate complex cloud concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

- Design and implement scalable, secure, and robust cloud architectures on Microsoft Azure.




- Collaborate with IT and business leaders to develop cloud strategy and roadmap.
- Evaluate and recommend cloud technologies and services to optimize performance and

cost(FinOps)
- Conduct cloud feasibility assessments and prepare design documentation.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior members of the IT team.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure for performance, availability, and security, adjusting as

necessary.
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends to ensure best practices are

followed.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation, specifically with

Microsoft Azure.
- Deep knowledge of Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Functions, App Services, and

containerization using Kubernetes (AKS) or Docker.
- Expertise in Azure Virtual Networks, firewalls, load balancers, VPN gateways, Azure

AD/Entra ID, and data protection strategies.
- Proficiency in SQL Database, Cosmos DB, Azure Data Lake, and Blob storage.
- Experience with Azure Migrate and connecting on-premises infrastructure to Azure.
- Proven experience in designing and deploying cloud solutions in the manufacturing

industry.
- Strong understanding of security protocols, compliance requirements, and best practices for

cloud applications.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools used for continuous integration and delivery in cloud

environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts to

various stakeholders.
- Relevant Azure certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, are

preferred.
