– Modem BSP Engineer Position: Modem BSP Engineer Experience: 3 to 7 Years Location: Bangalore, India Domain: Modem BSP | Telematics | Automotive Connectivity About The Role We are seeking a skilled Modem BSP Engineer to develop, integrate, debug, validate, and maintain BSP software for Qualcomm-based telematics platforms. The role involves Linux kernel development, device driver customization, modem integration, hardware bring-up, power management, and system-level debugging for automotive connectivity solutions.

Key Responsibilities Develop, customize, and maintain BSP components on Qualcomm platforms.

Analyze and resolve kernel, device driver, bootloader, and modem-related issues.

Perform Linux kernel bring-up, customization, and chipset migration activities.

Support new hardware board bring-up, integration, and validation.

Debug and optimize boot time, power consumption, thermal performance, and system stability.

Integrate modem and telematics features into NAD and TCU platforms.

Perform log analysis, root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions.

Support customer escalations and field issue investigations.

Collaborate with Qualcomm, OEM customers, and cross-functional engineering teams.

Develop automation scripts for testing, validation, and log analysis.

Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and code reviews.

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical capability development.

Familiarity with Qualcomm modem debugging and telematics solutions.

Understanding of ASPICE and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
