Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist Packaging to manage the end-to-end procurement of primary and secondary packaging materials. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in vendor management, commercial negotiations, inventory planning, and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage procurement of packaging materials such as bottles, jars, cartons, corrugated boxes, labels, pouches, caps, closures, and other packaging components.
- Source and develop current vendors while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and contracts with suppliers.
- Ensure timely procurement to support production requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, QA, R&D;, Finance, and Marketing teams.
- Monitor inventory levels and support procurement planning.




- Drive cost-saving initiatives through alternate sourcing and vendor negotiations.
- Experience in raw material procurement will be an added advantage.

Requirements

- 5+ years of procurement experience.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in packaging procurement is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of packaging materials and vendor management.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally or similar) and Advanced Excel.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Industry

Nutraceuticals, FMCG, Cosmetics, Personal Care, Pharmaceuticals, Food & Beverage, or Packaging Manufacturing.
