Role Description The Mentor (Daycare Teacher) is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This role involves supervising and engaging children in daily routines, play, and learning activities that support their overall development. The Mentor plans and conducts age-appropriate educational and recreational sessions, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment at all times.

Responsibilities include monitoring children’s well-being, maintaining classroom hygiene and order, communicating with families about children’s progress, and collaborating with colleagues to implement Ipsaa’s curriculum and values.



The Mentor also supports special events, maintains records as required, and follows all child safety and care protocols.

Qualifications

Experience working with young children in daycare, pre-school, or early childhood education settings, with robust child supervision and engagement skills.

Ability to plan and deliver age-appropriate learning, play, and creative activities that foster intellectual, social, and emotional development.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children, families, and team members.

Patience, empathy, and a caring attitude, with the ability to manage groups of children calmly and positively.

Basic organizational and record-keeping skills, including maintaining attendance, activity logs, and child-related documentation.

Capability to maintain a clean, safe, and inclusive classroom environment, following health, safety, and hygiene guidelines.

Preferred qualification: Certificate or diploma in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.

Prior experience in a structured daycare or pre-school setup in Gurugram or similar urban settings is an advantage.
