Member of Technical Staff (Computer Vision Engineer) — Fast Code AI

Location: Bengaluru, India (onsite, Whitefield) · Type: Full-time · Experience: 0–1 years (freshers strongly encouraged) About Fast Code AI

Quick Code AI is a ~50-person AI company headquartered in Bengaluru, with FastCode AI Labs GmbH in Stuttgart. We take frontier AI into production for global enterprises in automotive, oil and gas, and machine manufacturing — including work that ships in real vehicles for companies like Mercedes-Benz and Bosch. Founded by Dr.

Arjun

Jain (PhD, Max Planck Institute; formerly NYU, Yahoo!, Apple), we are bootstrapped, engineering-led, and known as a talent factory: our engineers have gone on to Johns Hopkins, Chevening scholarships, and principal roles across the industry. The role

You will build computer vision systems that look at the physical world — cars, factories, machines — and have to be right. This is production CV, not benchmark CV: cameras with real calibration problems, detection under real lighting, geometry that has to hold up when the vehicle moves. You will work directly with senior engineers and the founder, own real deliverables early, and see your work run in the field. What we screen for

We do not require years of experience, publications, or a brand-name university. We require fundamentals — real understanding, not keyword familiarity:

Camera models and parameters — intrinsics,

extrinsics, distortion; what calibration actually does

Epipolar geometry — you can explain it from first principles and use it

Object detection — you know what your detector is doing under the hood, not just how to call it

Region proposal networks — architecture and reasoning, not just the acronym

Classical vision — e.g., why normalized cross-correlation survives a lighting change, and when classical beats learned Strong Python and one of PyTorch/C++; comfort with Linux and real datasets. Nice to have (genuinely optional)

Multi-view geometry or SLAM exposure · deployment experience (TensorRT, ONNX, edge devices) · open-source contributions · anything you have built that sees the world. What you get

Frontier-grade problems for real clients, shipped into the field — not proofs-of-concept

Direct mentorship from senior engineers and the founder A culture where excellence is prized and rewarded — never at the cost of the person producing it The alumni track record speaks for itself: we grow people, including beyond us How to apply

Send a resume AND the thing we actually read first: a short note or link showing something you built — a repo, a project, a demo. We check GitHub before pedigree.
