Position Title: Medical R&D; Global Leader

Location: Chennai

Brief Position Overview:

Lead a global Medical Research & Development function managing a US$100M+ medical portfolio across Homecare, Suction & Oxygen Therapy, and Medical Central Gas.

Drive innovation, product development, and sustaining engineering across India and Europe, supporting manufacturing sites in India, Italy, the UK, the Czech Republic, and the USA. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant business impact and grow into broader leadership responsibilities.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Innovation – 50%

- Generating strong funnel of opportunities leveraging sales, product managers, regulatory
- Delivering on time, on cost Current Product projects through rigorous gate processing

Product care – 25%




- Raising the bar on performance through continuous upgrade and improved test criteria
- Driving cost competitiveness through redesign, specs and procurement team
- Improving customer experience through simplification of instructions, repair processes…
- Creation, completion, management of technical files for product lines

Customer and product support – 25%
- Ensuring point of contact for technical questions from customers/production/product management/quality and regulatory
- Acting as technical and troubleshooting authority for top 10 EU customers
