Position Overview: We are seeking an energetic, highly organized, and growth-oriented Sales Support Intern to join our revenue team in Noida. This is not a typical administrative internship; it is a high-octane talent pipeline program. Over the tenure, you will act as the foundational engine of our sales outreach, converting raw market data into high-value warm leads.

Key Responsibilities :

Database Architecture & Market Intelligence: Build, curate, and rigorously maintain exhaustive, high-quality databases of potential corporate advertisers, B2B partners, and sponsors tailored to specific ET flagship IPs, summits, and digital programs.

Strategic Lead Generation: Map key decision-makers (CMOs, Brand Heads, CXOs, VP Marketing) across diverse sectors using platforms like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, internal tools, and industry reports.

Initial Outreach & Warm-Up: Execute sharp, highly customised email outreach campaigns and cold/warm calls to introduce Economictimes.com’s bespoke partnership propositions.

Pipeline Nurturing: Qualify inbound inquiries and initial outreach responses, address primary objections, and convert cold prospects into highly engaged warm leads.

Sales Enablement & Hand-off: Coordinate directly with the Head of Sales and senior account managers to seamlessly transition warm leads into active pitch meetings, ensuring the sales rhythm remains uninterrupted.

Reporting & Analytics:



Maintain real-time pipeline trackers in Excel/Google Sheets, providing structured weekly updates on database growth, open rates, response rates, and meeting conversions.

Ideal Candidate Profile & Prerequisites :

Communication Excellence: Must be highly articulate in English, possessing an impeccable command of both spoken and written business communication. You will be communicating with mid- to senior-level corporate leaders.

Clarity of Thought & Intellectual Rigour: Demonstrable ability to structurally deconstruct a business problem, distil information down to its absolute core, and articulate clear solutions without ambiguity.

Research & Problem-Solving Interest: A deep, self-driven affinity for deep-dive internet research, corporate tracking, and building frameworks to solve top-of-funnel lead discovery challenges.

Business News Literacy: Must track Indian and global macroeconomic news, corporate updates, and funding landscapes closely (an active reader of financial dailies). You should naturally connect the dots between a macro business trend (e.g., sector tailwinds, regulatory changes) and a tangible ad-revenue opportunity for ET.

Education: Graduate or Post-Graduate (MBA/PGDM in Marketing or Business Analytics preferred, though brilliant graduates from any stream are welcome).

Tools: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets (data filtering, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and experience with LinkedIn research.

Availability: Ready to join immediately, for a 6 months commitment, based out of our Noida office.
