SunWorks is seeking a skilled Mechanical & Civil AutoCAD Draftsman with experience in the Solar EPC industry to prepare detailed engineering drawings for ground-mounted and rooftop solar projects. The ideal candidate should have expertise in preparing MMS (Module Mounting Structure) drawings, 2D and 3D layouts, civil layouts, fabrication drawings, and construction drawings. The candidate will work closely with Mechanical, Civil, Structural, and Electrical Engineers to support project design and execution.

Roles & Responsibilities Area Responsibility

Mechanical Drafting Prepare MMS, fabrication, assembly, and installation drawings

Civil Drafting Develop GA drawings, foundation, pile, trench, road, and drainage layouts

Solar Plant Design Prepare 2D & 3D layouts for rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects

Drawing Management Maintain drawing revisions and engineering documentation

Cross-Functional Coordination Work with Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Electrical, Procurement, and Projects teams

Site Support Provide drawing clarifications and prepare as-built drawings

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a candidate who:

- Has 2 years of experience in the Solar EPC industry.
- Has worked on Utility Scale and Ground Mounted Solar Projects.




- Is proficient in AutoCAD 2D & 3D.
- Has hands-on experience preparing MMS (Module Mounting Structure) drawings.
- Can independently prepare civil, mechanical, and solar plant layouts.
- Has knowledge of steel structures, foundations, and fabrication drawings.
- Can coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Is capable of working under project deadlines with minimal supervision.

Required Technical

Skills

- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD 2D & 3D.
- Experience preparing MMS drawings.
- Knowledge of Ground Mount Solar Structures.
- Understanding of Civil Engineering Drawings.
- Experience preparing fabrication drawings.
- Knowledge of structural steel detailing.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong drafting standards knowledge.

Mandatory

Experience The candidate must have experience in:

- Ground Mount Solar Projects, MMS (Module Mounting Structure), AutoCAD 2D & 3D, Civil Layouts, Mechanical Fabrication Drawings, Foundation Layouts, Pile Layouts, GA Drawings, Module Layouts, Cable Trench Layouts, Road Layouts, As-Built Drawings Educational Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering.

Requirements

- Willingness to travel to project sites, if required.
- Ability to work under tight project schedules.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period will be preferred.
- Must be willing to work from the Hyderabad office and coordinate with project/site teams.
