Job Title: Mechanical R&D; Manager Robotics & Industrial Automation

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical R&D; Manager to lead the mechanical engineering function for the development of next-generation robotic platforms and industrial automation systems. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone passionate about product innovation, engineering excellence, and building reliable industrial products from concept to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design and development of robotic platforms, intelligent machines, and industrial automation systems.
- Drive mechanical product development from concept, prototyping, testing, validation, manufacturing, and deployment.
- Own CAD design, mechanism development, structural analysis, material selection, manufacturability, and engineering documentation.
- Review engineering drawings, BOMs, GD&T;, tolerance stack-ups, and fabrication requirements.
- Ensure products are robust, scalable, reliable, and compliant with industrial safety standards.
- Collaborate with Electronics, Embedded, and Software teams to develop integrated mechatronic systems.
- Lead rapid prototyping, design validation, engineering testing, and product improvements.
- Mentor and manage the Mechanical Engineering team while driving engineering best practices and structured development processes.
- Participate in customer visits and field studies to understand industrial challenges and translate them into practical engineering solutions.

Required Skills
- 10+ years of experience in Mechanical Design,



Product Development, Robotics, Industrial Automation, or Special Purpose Machines (SPMs).
- Strong expertise in mechanical design and industrial-grade product development.
- Hands-on experience with CAD tools such as Autodesk Inventor, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or similar platforms.
- Experience with FEA, DFMA, GD&T;, CAM/CAE, and manufacturing processes.
- Strong understanding of fabrication, machining, assembly, and production engineering.
- Experience leading engineering teams and managing multiple engineering projects.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in Robotics, Industrial Automation, Autonomous Systems, or Mechatronics.
- Knowledge of actuator systems, motion control, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electromechanical integration.
- Experience developing field-deployed industrial products.
- Familiarity with industrial compliance standards and IP-rated product development.
