Tails & Tales is a pet care brand currently in pre-launch, building products and experiences designed to make life better for pets and the people who love them. We're a small, early-stage team laying the foundation for something we're genuinely excited about — and our brand identity is in place. Now we need someone to bring it to life across every touchpoint pet parents will see, starting with our pre-launch buzz and carrying through to our official launch.

The Role

We're looking for a Graphic Designer to join us remotely and drive our marketing content, pre-launch and launch campaigns, website and e-commerce visuals, and social media presence. Our branding is already established — this role is about applying it consistently and creatively across everything we put out into the world.

What you'll do

Create marketing content for pre-launch buzz-building and our official launch campaign

Design website banners and other e-commerce visuals (product pages, promos, seasonal campaigns, etc.)

Produce ongoing social media content across platforms — feed posts, stories, reels/short-form assets, and more

Apply our existing brand identity consistently across all marketing touchpoints

Translate marketing and campaign ideas into clean, compelling visuals

Stay closely tuned to what's happening in the pet care space — trends, competitor content, what pet owners are responding to, and bring that thinking into your work

Collaborate directly with founders/leadership in a fast-moving, pre-launch environment where priorities shift quickly

What we're looking for





Strong skills in Graphic Design and Graphics creation, including proficiency with common design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar).

Robust visual storytelling skills, and the ability to follow and apply style guides.

Diligence. You follow through, meet deadlines, and take pride in getting the details right, even when no one's checking your work.

A strong sense of design. Solid fundamentals in composition, typography, color, and hierarchy — and the taste to know when something isn't working yet.

Industry awareness. You keep an eye on the pet care space and bring fresh, relevant inspiration rather than working in a vacuum.

Smart use of AI tools. We want someone who uses AI to speed up and enhance their workflow, not to replace their own creative judgment or produce lazy, generic output. AI should make your work better and faster, not do your thinking for you.

Tool fluency. Comfortable across the design tools needed to get the job done, from core design software to prototyping and collaboration tools, and quick to pick up new ones as needed.

1-2+ years of experience in design and marketing, ideally with hands-on work across social media content, e-commerce/web visuals, and campaign assets A strong portfolio that shows range, taste, and finished work — not just concepts
