Role & responsibilities

- Oversees corporate accounting and finance functions and activities including treasury management, reporting and analysis, and financial consolidation.
- Manages and completes the month, quarter and year-end close and assures adherence to Accounting Principles and Standards and completes reconciliations of balance sheet accounts ensuring accuracy of financial records.
- Reviews/Prepares monthly financial reports and communicates significant variances on a timely basis, including coordinating adjustments when needed
- Manages credit compliance and all external reporting
- Plan and coordinate the activities related to the annual budget and monthly forecasting process
- Coordinates periodic financial reviews/audits with outside audit and tax firms as required
- Provides all necessary information to outside accountants in conjunction with the filing of federal, state, and local tax returns for the business
- Develops recommendations and implements improvements to internal controls processes striving to build a more robust Accounting and Finance department
- Participate as a strategic business partner on cross functional teams to help drive organization efficiency, effectiveness, and continuous improvement
- Responsible for managing the Financial Consolidation software




- Leads process improvement projects across Finance, Accounting, and IT
- Provides accounting and financial guidance to Superiors and the Organization including developing accounting talent in the organization
- Devising, Implementing and monitoring appropriate systems, policies & procedures to facilitate internal controls over Finance, Banking, Cash, Overheads, Inventory, Debtors, Creditors, Inter-branch / Company transactions, Fixed Assets etc.
- Implementation of the existing check lists and the suggested internal controls and ensuring that the anomalies are eliminated completely at the earliest.

Preferred candidate profile

- CA / Inter CA / ICWA / Inter ICWA with 10+ years of work experience preferably in Manufacturing sector
- Previous financial consolidation software experience required
- Able to manage multiple projects with varying but stringent deadlines
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, able to effectively interact with various levels of the organization
- Solid communication and presentation skills, Strong analytical skills and Advanced Excel skills.
