After an extensive search for the right candidate, ISN Europe, a leading aftermarket solutions provider, has appointed Mark Ost as Managing Director. Ost will head the company’s two divisions: ISN Garage Assist, which supplies garage equipment to independents, main dealers, and tyre chains, and ToolTruck, which distributes tools and diagnostic products through a network of dealers.
Ost Brings a Wealth Of Expertise To The Role, Which Has Been Described By The US-owned Company As a "perfect Fit" To Position ISN Europe For Its Next Phase Of Development.
Commenting On The
Appointment, James Boon, Who Has Served As Interim Managing Director Since 2022, Said:
“The search for the right person to take the business to the next level has been extensive and, certainly from my perspective, unprecedented in terms of the time and consideration we have given. I consider this appointment to be a landmark for ISN Europe, and should be seen by our employees, customers and indeed the industry as a whole as significant and compelling, simply because it encapsulates our plans and goals.”
Ost Will Report Directly To ISN’s US-based CEO And Board Of Directors. CEO Mark Majeske Expressed Confidence In Ost's Ability To Accelerate The Company’s Success In The European Market:
“I am excited to have Mark on board. We are confident his unique, combined experience with both the tools and equipment sectors will be exactly what we need to accelerate our overall success in Europe.”
ISN Europe has recently synergised its two divisions to offer customers a more comprehensive portfolio while retaining their individual identities. Ost’s leadership is expected to bolster this approach further,
delivering greater value to customers and strengthening the company’s position in the European market.
James Boon, who founded the original Hofmann Megaplan UK business in 2004—later acquired by ISN in 2017—will remain involved as an ambassador and advisor to the business.
