Role & responsibilities
- Execution of comprehensive feasibility studies and Highest and Best Use (HBU) analyses to determine the most profitable and sustainable development paths for diverse real estate assets.
- Conduct rigorous market assessments by synthesizing macroeconomic trends, supply demand dynamics, and competitive benchmarking to provide clients with a clear view of market opportunities.
- Develop complex financial models to evaluate project viability, sensitivity analysis, and investment returns, ensuring accuracy in forecasting and risk mitigation.
- Manage client relationships throughout the consulting lifecycle, presenting findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and key decisionmakers.
- Collaborate with internal research and valuation teams to integrate proprietary data into advisory reports, maintaining the high quality and credibility of Colliers deliverables.
- Mentor junior team members by providing guidance on analytical techniques, report structuring,
and qualified communication standards.
Preferred candidate profile
- Demonstrated expertise in real estate consulting, with a strong command of market assessment methodologies and urban land economics.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, including the ability to build and audit cash flow models, IRR calculations, and NPV analysis for various asset classes.
- Proven ability to synthesize large datasets into concise, executive level presentations and reports that influence strategic business decisions.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and communicate effectively with senior management.
- A minimum of 4 to 8 years of professional experience in real estate advisory, consulting, or investment analysis.
- A postgraduate degree in Management, Finance, or Urban Planning is highly preferred.
