Role & responsibilities
- Assessment & Diagnosis: Conduct clinical interviews, observe behavior, and utilize psychometric or neuropsychological tests to diagnose disorders.
- Treatment Planning: Develop and implement personalized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions for individuals, groups, and families.
- Psychotherapy: Execute evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or psychodynamic approaches.
- Care Coordination: Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical doctors, social workers, and schools to coordinate holistic patient care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation, case notes, and progress reports.
- Research & Education: Educate patients' families, and depending on the setting, conduct scientific studies and publish findings in industry
