AVP Reinsurance – 10+ Years – Mumbai

Are you a Reinsurance skilled with expertise in Treaty & Facultative Reinsurance? We are looking for an experienced professional to lead reinsurance strategy, treaty placements, facultative solutions, and portfolio optimization while working closely with global reinsurers and cross-functional teams.

Location – Mumbai

Responsibilities –

- Lead Property Treaty and Facultative Reinsurance placements, renewals, and programme design.
- Manage catastrophe exposure, portfolio analytics, and optimize risk transfer strategies.
- Build strong relationships with reinsurers, brokers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless reinsurance operations.
- Ensure compliance with IRDAI regulations, treaty obligations, audit requirements, and governance standards.
- Lead the Reinsurance team while driving operational excellence and continuous process improvements.

Requirements –

- Postgraduate from a reputed institute/university.
- MBA/PGDM, Engineering, or professional insurance qualifications (ACII/FIII preferred).
- 10-12 years of experience in General Insurance with strong exposure to Treaty and Facultative Reinsurance.
- Expertise in reinsurance programme design, catastrophe exposure management, and portfolio analytics.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
